This hand turned pitcher is beautifully functional piece of art. It is made of stoneware and with it's high fire glaze it will last for generations. The Pitcher measures 10 inches tall and is 4 1/2 inches across the opening. The hand carvings in the side are people praising.
In the Southeast Region of the United States the Cherokee Nation of Native Americans are predominate. Their pottery, which served in their daily lives, is truly their best written history. With little or no written records, Cherokee pottery served as their legacy. It holds spiritual connections, tribal customs and the ways of the lives of many of our own ancestors.
