Our Cherokee Honey Jar is hand made by our Cherokee potter, Valinda Miracle. It measures 5 1/2 inches tall and is 4 inches across the top. It is adorned with feathers, items that are treasured by the Cherokee.
In the Southeast Region of the United States the Cherokee Nation of Native Americans are predominate. Their pottery, which served in their daily lives, is truly their best written history. With little or no written records, Cherokee pottery served as their legacy. It holds spiritual connections, tribal customs and the ways of the lives of many of our own ancestors. Artisans are the original keepers of history.
